PostSubject: When I have fears that you may cease to be   Mon Feb 22, 2010 6:41 pm

Modeled after this poem by John Keats: http://www.bartleby.com/126/52.html
idk if it would infringe on a copyright, but oh well.

When I have fears that you may cease to be
Before the turn of Time's meand'ring pace,
Before some motive cleanses fallacy
And unreflected love fills every trace;
When I behold, the smiling signature,
Of God's own image in your eyes and brow
And think of all hardships you'd endure
With victories alike, eons from now;
And when I feel, my brother mired in sin!
If you persist in trailing darker paths
That you and I shall never fight again,
Nor will I hear your laugh - then I at last
Descend to darker moods then e'er I've known
And fear that day when you abandon home.
